Integrating Prayer into Your Daily Life
What we have before us is a glorious oportunity to welcome a familiar term and practice into our lives in a fundamentally new and creatively challenging way. Integrating Prayer Into Your Daily Life is a workshop gathered into eight two hour sessions that will allow you to examine your prayer life, making the changes you want to make and creating ways to maintain the changes as an ongoing commitment in your life. Components of the workshop sessions will include opportunities for discussion, individual reflection, journaling, articles and personal sharing.

Creating a Journaling Circle in Your Congregation
Journaling is a craft like no other. It can become the springboard for deep sharing and rich spiritual connection when shared among fellow believers who yearn to move forward in their personal faith, as well as welcome God's empowering spirit into all avenues of the world. This workshop uses eight sessions to encourage participants to write down their faith experiences, explore these meditative moments in a small group setting and begin to more fully understand how God is working through individuals and congregations every day. Vocational Rehabilitation: Working Through Your Gifts with God
Vocations are God's life gifts to us, and with them we can literally change the world. This eight session workshop offers participants the opportunity to identify their vocations, and initiates them on the glorious journey of discovery in working with God in their vocations. Is your vocation teaching? You may already be using your vocation in very specific ways in your life and aren't even aware of it. There is room in this workshop for participants to examine their lives and see how God's gifts to them are already embraced in their lives. Available soon.
Personal Journeys Workshops is a series of workshops created for individual study and faith development. Designed as primer courses, Personal Journeys offer opportunities to explore new topics, such as vocational gifts or journaling, or to deepen one's knowledge by revisiting familiar themes or concepts from a new perspective. Shorter in length than our workshops, Personal Journeys are also structured to accomodate varied learning styles and schedules. You will be able to work with the study materials in whatever way makes the most sense to you.
Beginning Journaling is an open door, inviting you to discover the satisfaction that the process of journaling can bring. You will be introduced to and be able to practice the basics of journaling, including how to get started and what tools you will want to gather as your resources. You will learn through journaling memories, events, feelings and your faith that you will also be encouraged to understand yourself more fully as the person God created you to be. Includes thirty page lined journal.

Creating a Prayer Life invites you to intentionally explore your understanding of prayer and to develop a conscious habit of prayer in your daily life. While prayer is a cornerstone of the Christian faith, our communication with God is often taken for granted at best, ignored completely on days when the busy-ness of life overtakes us. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to make time simply to be with God, to nurture this all-important relationship , and your own soul in the process? Wonder no more. In this study is your opportunity to define what prayer is, examine your own prayer experience, understand more clearly why you want to pray, and from this standpoint, determine how you would like your prayer life to to look. Included to assist you in your process are essays and questions to guide your journey, and a journal to give you space to answer these questions for yourself, and to ask more as they arise.
